Continuing with our spotlight on small businesses this week, we'd like to introduce you to Dandolife.
DandoLife is a small family owned business with a mission to inspire others through living a healthy, joy filled life. Dando itself means “giving” and that's what they strive to live; a giving life. By starting their online store, followed by an Instagram page, it provided a platform where they can share those blessing through thoughts and words of wisdom with the hopes of inspiring others to set goals, make memories, and live to their full potential. They offer natural stone bracelets of various colors and shapes. Just this last week they opened their online store to athletic wear.
Jana is the head of the company. She is a wife, mother, educator, lover of chocolate and, warm fuzzies. Born and raised in Davis County Utah, Jana has always been physically active. Loving to go camping, hiking, road tripping and photography. With her busy schedule, she has learned firsthand the importance of learning to “be still” and mindful of listening to her body. She loves learning new things that will benefit her and others in that area. She highly recommends positive self-talk, embracing failure as a learning step and getting out of the city to reconnect with family, friends and nature.
Starting up a business is stressful, but this lady has a positive outlook. Jana says,” That first step was scary, leaving us feeling vulnerable, because we know that there are some that are just not going to like what we have to say or question it. Yet we did it and gratefully we are making new friends and a little community of similarly giving people.”
DandoLife is a business that wants to grow as a community by extending an invitation to share photos of your adventures, how you are giving to others or your peaceful mindfulness in order to help with the mission of inspiring others to live a giving life.
In true Brooke and Em spirit we encourage women everywhere to find what they love and go for it. Whether it is starting a business, schooling, making and reaching goals, or even just starting the day with a smile. YOU matter in this crazy world and can make a difference, big or small.
Love much, Heather
