Meg was paralyzed in St. George, Utah when she accidentally jumped off a 40-foot cliff, breaking both her femurs, arms, collarbone, and neck in the landing. She became a C-7 quadriplegic.
“I'm not the only one who knows what it feels like when this life gets too hard to stand," she says. "I might be the only one who can't walk, but not the only one who knows what it's like when life gets too hard to put one foot in front of the other."
"I am definitely a t-shirt and jeans girl. I only dress up for events, but for everyday life, I just like the basics. But I can't control my temperature so I wear layers fairly often and scarves to help me keep warm. I am loving my teal Kari Cardigan and both of my scarves! It's very uncharacteristic of me to be fashionable offstage (uh...and sometimes on...) but it is awesome to be comfortable and feel beautiful at the same time!
The Jenna and Chelsea sweaters are...luxurious. It's the only word for them. The fabric of Jenna is so soft and the elbow pads on Chelsea are kind of awesome!
My daughter is the Chief of Style in our house and picks my clothes quite regularly. I'm sure this will only get worse as she gets older so it's nice to fill my closet with cute things. She's a doll in the autumn Cheyenne Tassel-tie dress and we had quite a lot of trouble getting a picture in her purple Lilly Maxi dress - she has worn it 24/7 since we got it, and I'm sure if you look closely, you can even see some Capri-Sun drips. :)"
